We use Firebase services for user authentication, Google Sign-In, phone number authentication and OTP verification, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), and application analytics.
Firebase may process email addresses, phone numbers, names, profile photographs, Firebase user identifiers, and device notification tokens.
Firebase Authentication may also process email addresses for account verification, password reset functionality, and authentication-related communications.
Certain features of the Application may utilize Google Generative AI services to provide educational content, meal analysis, health-related assistance, or other AI-powered functionality. When such features are used, user-submitted text, images, or prompts may be transmitted to Google's AI services solely for generating requested outputs.
Application data, including personal information, health records, uploaded documents, and related content, may be securely stored and processed using infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
AWS acts as a data processor and infrastructure provider on our behalf.
With your authorization, designated healthcare providers and caregivers may access information that you choose to share through the Application.
We may share information with trusted service providers that assist us in authentication, cloud hosting and storage, analytics, notification delivery, technical support, and security monitoring.
Subject to applicable ethical approvals, institutional policies, participant consent requirements, and legal obligations, anonymized or aggregated information may be used for academic research, scientific publications, public health studies, and program evaluation. No research publication will intentionally identify individual users.
We may disclose information where required by law, court order, governmental authority, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of users, healthcare providers, researchers, or the Application.
Sugar Sangini has been developed as part of an academic research initiative conducted under the Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health, PGIMER Chandigarh.
